We are a concerned group of citizens and advocates within our local government area who are committed to promoting transparency, accountability, and genuine community participation in the decision-making processes that affect our community’s well-being.
What We Want to Achieve
Our primary goal is to address the increasing centralization of decision-making between the government and large corporations through the utilization of Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs). We believe that this trend is inhibiting transparency within the government and undermining true democratic practices. To rectify this issue, we aim to:
Promote Government Transparency: We want to ensure that government actions and decisions are made with the utmost transparency, allowing our community to fully understand the processes and motivations behind policies that impact us.
Uphold Democratic Principles: We are committed to safeguarding the core principles of democracy, which include government accountability and representation of the people’s interests. We aim to resist any erosion of these principles caused by the increasing influence of big businesses in government affairs.
Foster Genuine Community Consultation: We believe that true community consultation is vital to decision-making processes. We aim to advocate for and actively engage in efforts to ensure that our community’s voice is heard and considered in local governance.
By pursuing these objectives, we hope to promote a local government that respects the values of transparency, accountability, and democratic participation, ensuring that our community’s needs and concerns are at the forefront of decision-making processes.

Community Voice of Australia is a local political group dedicated to empowering communities within our Local Government Area (LGA) to engage in active advocacy. Our vision is to promote genuine consultation with both the government and Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) to guarantee that decisions are collaboratively, transparently, and inclusively made. Our goal is to ensure that these decisions truly reflect the priorities and needs of the communities they impact.
